Examples of Our Spanish Video Production Work
Much of our Spanish language video work has been in the areas of government, educational institutions, and nonprofits. Here are two examples of our work that we are especially proud of.
The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Cystic Fibrosis Center hired us to do a series of videos for parents with newborns who are recently diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. This video is provided to parents post-diagnosis is aimed both at reiterating certain important healthcare messages, but primarily to share the experiences of other families as a way of providing hope and helping parents see that as difficult a road as they have before them, their children will not only survive but thrive. There is nothing like hearing the voices of, and seeing the experiences of, families such as yourself to provide that hope, and engender the belief that they too will be able to cope and overcome the many challenges they will face.
The second video was for a community health organization in Chile called Educación Popular en Salud (Popular Education in Health), which historically has worked in training and leadership development in low-income communities, helping empower them around health issues. In the last few years EPES has has worked on the national level with a network of similar organizations to impact countrywide health policies, including the recent passage of a tobacco law banning smoking in restaurants, bars and public spaces.
